Military / Civil Defense / Youth and Sport (income compensation, EO)
During mandatory Swiss military and civil defense service and for the duration of civilian alternative service, conscripts have the right to continued payment of full wages.
For the duration of military services, ETH Zurich is the recipient of statutory earning compensation.
Exception:
Employees paid on an hourly basis or who continue to work at ETH after leaving, are compensated directly by the Compensation Fund (AHV).
In any case Human Resources must receive your registration sheet, which you will receive on the last day of duty from your accountant.
