Participants should be
working on an approved project in the role of a project leader. Prior knowledge
of project management methods and tools is expected.
The workshop will feature brief theoretical inputs, exercises, tasks carried out in small groups, sharing experiences, and examining individual cases presented by participants. During the period between the two course blocks participants will be asked to carry out transfer tasks which will enable them to apply what they have learnt to their own projects.
Procedures and working
methods in this course require participants to tackle problems in depth at both
subject and personal levels, and depend upon participants contributing
examples, issues and problems encountered in their own projects that are of
interest to other scientists and doctoral candidates.
This workshop can be
run for specific departments or domains, if required.

The workshop is
divided into two course blocks of 1 day each, held over a period of 1 month.
Transfer tasks will be conducted between the two workshop blocks.

The number of
participants is limited. Registrations will be accepted in the order in which
they are received. Once registered, participants may no longer withdraw from
the workshop and are obliged to attend the entire course.
